SUPER-CAT stands for \u201cStudy of the Utility of Rivaroxaban or Clopidogrel for prevention of recurrent Arterial Thromboembolism in cats.\u201d \u00a0This study is funded by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.morrisanimalfoundation.org\/vet-clinics\/current-studies\/investigating-a-new.html\">Morris Animal Foundation<\/a> and aims to investigate the efficacy of a novel anti-clotting drug (rivaroxaban) compared to clopidogrel in preventing the recurrence of arterial thromboembolism (\u201csaddle thrombus\u201d) in cats with heart disease.
